Dandi Daley Mackall, originally from Missouri, has published about 400 books for children and adults, with sales of 4 million in 22 countries. Her works have been published by numerous publishers that included, Simon & Schuster, Penguin, and Harper Collins. She’s a frequent guest on radio talk shows, has hosted over 200 radio phone-in programs, and made dozens of appearances on TV, including ABC, NBC, and CBS. While a student at the University of Missouri, Mackall wrote for fun and eventually for larger newspapers. Some of her books include Larger-Than-Life-Lara, A Girl Named Dan, Rudy Rides the Rails, Crazy in Love, Eva Underground, A Gaggle of Geese and a Clutter of Cats, Winnie the Horse Gentler, and hundreds more. In 2014, her novel, My Boyfriends’ Dogs, was adapted into a movie by Hallmark and became one of the most watched Hallmark Original Movie. She keeps busy with school visits and conferences and continues to write from rural Ohio, where she enjoys her family, including horses, dogs and cats.
