Literary Cleveland‘s Read Ohio book talk and discussion series continues with “Fictionalizing Truth.” Authors Robin Yocum, Shelley Costa, and Casey Daniels will discuss how they draw on actual places and personal experiences in creating their work. This event will take place on Thursday, October 26 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Market Garden Brewery, 1947 W. 25th Street, Cleveland. It is free and open to the public. Click here to register for this event.
Robin Yocum will discuss A Brilliant Death, his 2017 Edgar Award-nominated book; Shelley Costa is a 2004 Edgar nominee for Best Short Story; Casey Daniels is the author of more than 60 novels, including the wildly popular Pepper Martin mysteries.
Few literary events are as special as an author talk for giving readers insight into the book and, perhaps, the author’s creative process. Participants are welcome to read Yocum’s work in advance or come to experience his writing for the first time and engage in conversation.
