“Creating the Superhero in You” Free Workshop for Youths Ages 10-16

In partnership with the Julia De Burgos Cultural Arts Center, the Cleveland Public Library will host a 9-week workshop for youth ages 10-16. Creating the Superhero in You workshops will be led by artist, Gilberto Rivera, who will teach participants how to create their own superhero through writing, sketching, inking and drawing. The workshop, to be held on Saturdays beginning January 6 through March 3, 2018, during its duration will take place at two locations. This workshop is free and open to the public. Space is limited and registration is required. At the end of the series, participants will have the chance to exhibit their artwork at the WizardWorld Comic Con and celebrate with a gala reception!
