Public invited to Siegel and Shuster Induction Ceremony into the Jewish-American Hall of Fame, Sunday, Nov. 14

The November 14th program will feature Don Boozer, Manager of the Literature Department at Cleveland Public Library (home to one of the largest Superman memorabilia collections in the country) and Coordinator of the Ohio Center for the Book speaking on Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster’s connection to Cleveland, Ohio, and their lasting legacy to the medium of comics.

Other speakers include:

Sam Asher, Director of the Virginia Holocaust Museum, who will give a private tour of their permanent display of all 50+ JAHF plaques

Abby Schwartz, Director of the Skirball Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio, home of the Jewish-American Hall of Fame Medal Collection;

renowned sculptor Eugene Daub will reveal the steps in creating the Siegel and Shuster plaque and medal

Elan Carr, former US Special Envoy to Monitor & Combat Antisemitism

…and other special guests.
